THE ART OF RECRUITMENT GUIDEBOOK
At the heart of every CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program are the volunteers. These are the individuals willingly donating their time to speak up for the children who need them the most. The Art of Recruitment: Engaging Volunteers Who OWN Your Mission represents a year of work working with the Texas CASA Recruitment and Retention team. This 82-page guidebook brings the best of the best to the CASA network through groundbreaking approaches and cutting-edge research. Multiple engaging infographics and visually-appealing icons were created to help recruiters learn these vital techniques and ideas.
To take recruitment efforts to a higher level, a Volunteer Ownership Cycle infographic was created and is included in the guidebook. This cycle is essential to Texas CASA recruitment efforts for two reasons—1. CASA volunteers are professionals, and 2. CASA’s recruitment strategies should be reflective of the high-quality volunteers needed to do this challenging, yet indispensable job. Our sincere hope is together, we can and will provide a CASA volunteer for every child who needs one – creating a lasting difference in our communities and across the state for generations to come.
