WHAT DOES A CASA DO?
A set of illustrations and trifold designs in English and Spanish were commissioned by Texas CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to illustrate the many duties a CASA volunteer has and the impact they have in vulnerable childrenβs lives. When a family is in crisis and becomes involved in the child protection system, a CASA volunteer may be appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interest of the child. The design and illustrations feature a fictional story based on real-life situations that many children in the Texas foster care system face.
